EArtH Foundation was founded in 2012 with the mission of helping underprivileged children. It is registered as 501(c) (3) in US and 80G in India. We believe that Literacy is a human right, Literacy empowers humans, and Literates empower a nation. Education is our primary focus for the simple reason that well rounded education will lead to well rounded and responsible individuals and communities. We would like to focus our efforts on uplifting under-privileged and middle-class families who live in villages and small towns, and who often cannot afford to attend private schools. Hence we usually partner with public schools and work with them in improving the quality of the education they provide. We aim to fulfill our mission by instilling a sense of ownership, responsibility and involvement from all stakeholders who contribute to an EArtH child: students, parents, schools and elders of the community. Involvement of the parents is key in encouraging children to attend school and participate in the various activities sponsored by EArtH.
