The funds raised will offer assistance to individuals and families touched by mosaic Down syndrome. Such campaigns as this one plays a vital role in providing support for our Self-Advocate program (S.A.L.T) and ensure the availability of support staff to address queries promptly or engage in discussions regarding receiving a proper diagnosis. Furthermore, these initiatives extend support to individuals coping with a recent mosaic Ds diagnosis. Additionally, funds raised will aid in sponsoring families to partake in our Research and Retreat weekends, also known as R&R. Participation in the IMDSA Research & Retreat Weekend facilitates direct engagement with research activities and fosters connections within the mosaic Down syndrome community. Contributions will enable the provision of scholarships to families and bolster the success of the event.
Our Mission
IMDSA is designed to support families and individuals whose lives have been touched by mosaic Down syndrome by continuously pursuing research opportunities and increasing awareness in medical, educational and public communities around the world.
We encourage each fundraising team to set a target of $321 to contribute towards our target goal of $15,000!
