About GivingTuesday- 2024 - BAMSI Campaign: Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement that focuses on unleashing the power of radical generosity. It's a day that encourages individuals to give back by donating, volunteering and by doing good for others. "BAMSI's Holiday Giving Campaign kicks off on GivingTuesday - Tuesday, December 3 and runs through Tuesday, December 31!" No two families are alike. That is why BAMSI Kids treats each child, and their family unit, as special. Taking a strengths-based, holistic approach, BAMSI helps families access the individualized support they need to learn, grow, and thrive. BAMSI transforms lives by building the capacity of individuals, families, organizations, and communities to learn, thrive, and achieve their goals. Steven’s infectious smile and sense of humor light up any room, while his strength and determination inspire everyone around him. Before moving into a BAMSI home, Steven lived in a nursing home under hospice care. Describing him as goal-oriented would be an understatement—he has made it his mission to regain his independence, rejoin the community, and find ways to inspire and give back to others. An active volunteer with BAMSI and various other organizations, Steven has also returned to his former residence to speak with others about the importance of community engagement and advocating for their own independence.
