Founded in 1975, BAMSI is one of MA’s largest CDO-certified minority-owned nonprofit human service organizations. BAMSI empowers people and enriches their lives, through compassionate support and diverse services, one individual, one family at a time.
BAMSI is a multi-service agency providing high-quality, evidence-based programs for children, youth, adults, and families across the spectrum of need through key areas we call Home, Health, Kids, and Community. At its core, BAMSI provides comprehensive behavioral health services, including prevention, treatment, recovery, community care coordination, and counseling support for mental health and substance use disorders.
BAMSI also offers programs that address essential needs for low-income families and seniors. BAMSI’s geographic footprint of services spans from Worcester to Plymouth and Tewksbury to Attleboro, serving over 50,000 individuals per year at nearly 120 program locations.
