As most of you know, I was privileged to visit the Christel House South Africa several years ago...a trip that I will hold dear-to-my-heart forever. Prior to that visit, Joe told me it would change my life. HE WASN’T KIDDING! It seems that almost every trauma the world has experienced since that adventure, I’m constantly wondering, “How is Christel House dealing with this?” All it takes is looking into the eyes of a little South African child when he receives his first toothbrush or a young girl pushing a book in front of my face to joyfully read to me, or seeing laptops being distributed to EACH CHILD when the COVID epidmemic changed our world — well, it’s all created memories that have been unforgettable. Constant communications reveal that Christel House kids continue to “rock” and are graduating with outstanding careers in record numbers amidst all the challenges that they have faced!
Through this unique fundraising appeal, Joe and I have teamed to extend our personal philanthropic spirit to all our family and close friends! To add our personal dedication to the Christel House mission, we will MATCH $0.50 ON EVERY DOLLAR up to a combined $10,000 in campaign donations to reinforce your confidence in the benefits of supporting these outstanding schools and their undaunted mission...to break the circle of poverty!
