I’m excited to share that the Georgia Center of the Deaf & Hard of Hearing (GCDHH) is having it’s inaugural virtual race of “Follow the Sign” 5k!! The event is taking place during the National Deaf Awareness Week between Sunday, September 19-Saturday, September 25.
While participation in the event doesn’t stop with either walking, running, GCDHH is also looking for donors that will help us reach the overall goal of $20,000.
Thank you for taking the time & consideration to help us as we continue to help raise awareness about the uniqueness of sign language, communication, & accessibility throughout the state of Georgia!

About the Organization: Established in 1989, Georgia Center of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing’s (GCDHH) mission is to provide support, technology, education, communication, and employment services to Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Late-Deafened, Deaf-Blind, non-verbal individuals, and their families in Georgia. GCDHH provides statewide services, and the headquarter is in Atlanta, where it serves the most significant number of clients. GCDHH delivers the services such as Community Program, Employment Program, Telecommunication Equipment Distribution Program, American Sign Language classes, Interpreting Services, and Camp Juliena for youth children who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.
