My Appeal
Donated funds will be given back to the D/HH community supporting low-income consumers, helping them achieve their goals toward better living and independence. Additionally, raised funds will sponsor D/HH children from low-income families to enroll in our Camp Juliena, which is a week-long summer residence where they can engage in various, signed camp activities. About the Organization: Established in 1989, Georgia Center of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing’s (GCDHH) mission is to provide support, technology, education, communication, and employment services to Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Late-Deafened, Deaf-Blind, non-verbal individuals, and their families in Georgia. GCDHH provides statewide services, and the headquarter is in Atlanta, where it serves the most significant number of clients. GCDHH delivers the services such as Community Program, Employment Program, Telecommunication Equipment Distribution Program, American Sign Language classes, Interpreting Services, and Camp Juliena for youth children who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.
