Pink Ribbon Good
My Appeal
Pink Ribbon Good has always been apart of my life. It started when my Grandmother and neighbor were both diagnosed with breast cancer when we became aware of the foundation. I grew up volunteering for events, setting up Bunco for Boobies, and attending the Susan Komen Race for a Cure. I thought that was as deep as my connection would go, until my Mom was diagnosed with Stage II Triple Negative breast cancer my freshman year of high school. I found myself receiving the services I used to educate people on and fully understand the impact Pink Ribbon Good has on families. Im so grateful for everything they've done for my Mom, me, and my family, so I'd love to give back by fundraising for PRG and would appreciate any donation you can give!
My Cause
The Mission: Pink Ribbon Good exists to serve every person and family affected by breast and gynecological cancer by providing free healthy meals, rides to treatment, housecleaning essentials and peer support so no one is alone in the fight.
About the Organization: 1 in every 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer. And every 5 minutes someone learns they have gynecological cancer. For those diagnosed, research is too late. They need practical help with daily demands so they can focus on the fight.

That's where Pink Ribbon Good steps in to provide free healthy meals for the whole family, rides to treatment, housecleaning essentials and a nationwide peer support network. PRG services are provided free of charge to breast and gynecological cancer patients and their families regardless of age, stage or socioeconomic status.

Sadly, 56% of PRG clients fall below the poverty line. Can you imagine battling cancer and not knowing how you are going to feed your kids?

Those who receive PRG's services have better treatment compliance and studies show the more closely someone follows their treatment plan, the better their cancer treatment outcomes tend to be.

PRG began by serving just four families and now we've served over 1 million meals. None of this would have been possible without the generous support of the doers, donors and door openers that we've surrounded ourselves with since our start. We are so thankful to have you in the PRG Family. Together we can ensure No One Travels This Road Alone.
