WUNDERfund is proud to sponsor a volunteer mobile wellness and support team operating in the hardest-hit, most devastated areas of Ukraine, where access to care is not available. Your participation helps us to deliver mobile dentistry, crisis counselling, physical therapy, occupational therapy, art therapy, health screening, and specialist referral services. Each MobileWellness mission serves up to 300 people over a two-week period, including women and children in dire need of health and trauma care. Each step you take funds medical supplies, vehicles, fuel, and consumables like food and hygiene products.
 
WUNDERfund chose Charity Footprints to engage our communities because we believe that wellness and humanitarian work go hand-in-hand. Our Charity Footprints campaign is open to wellness enthusiasts of all shapes, sizes, and ability levels! Choose your target based on the activity you want to record and how vigorous you want your daily workouts to be. Those who raise the most money will receive special prizes, and everyone who participates gets a beautiful, handmade paracord bracelet in Ukrainian blue and yellow.
 
 
Providing creative solutions for peace
 
WUNDERfund is a multicultural group of volunteers, based in Canada, who are committed to advocating for peace and supporting victims of the ongoing war in Ukraine. We are dedicated to the restoration of peace and direct 100% of our efforts toward that goal by providing relief to those closest to danger.
 
We are a volunteer team, called to action by a Canadian Forces veteran who emigrated to Canada from Ukraine and maintains strong ties to her country of origin. WUNDERfund volunteers coordinate relief efforts across Canada, raise awareness through local outreach programs, and design custom apparel and handmade jewelry. All proceeds are used to fund humanitarian efforts on the ground in Ukraine and within local communities in Canada.

HOW YOUR PARTICIPATION HELPS
For less than $2,000 USD, a Mobile Wellness mission serves up to 300 people over a two-week period, including women and children in dire need of health and trauma care. That means a Ukrainian in need could receive two weeks of crucial care for less than $20 USD. All funds raised will be spent on medical supplies, vehicles, fuel, and consumables like food and hygiene products.

What is Charity Footprints?

Charity Footprints is a social enterprise that connects fitness and charitable giving. We empower people just like you, to get fit & give back.

What is the campaign registration fee?

Campaign registration fee is the amount that you'll need to pay to enroll in this virtual race. This fee (less transaction charges) will go to the non-profit running this campaign as a donation.

The registration fee along with the funds raised through your individual fundraising page will enable the non-profit to fund various programs and pursue their organization's mission.

How can I create my fundraising page?

Well, you wouldn't have to create a separate fundraising page. Once you register for this campaign, we'll give you the link to your fundraising page.

How will I track my distance?

You can track your workouts by setting up your devices (Fitbit, Garmin, Apple Watch, Google Fit, Misfit, Strava), or download the Charity Footprints' iOS or Android app and track your workouts toward this campaign. ?>

I am an international donor (non-US), what are my donation charges and tax-deductibility?

All donations are made in US dollars, so the donations may be levied an exchange rate fee via your bank. Donors will want to connect with their bank to determine exactly what that fee may be. Additionally, international donors will need to reach out to a tax professional to discuss if and how tax deductibility will apply to their donation.

Who can sponsor my fundraising efforts?

The short answer is - everyone. The fundraising research shows that the number one reason for people not donating is that they weren't asked to.

That said, there are things you can do to attract people to sponsor you. Adding a picture to your fundraising page, telling potential donors why this cause is so personal to you, sharing your fundraising page on social media, email, and chat groups.

Last, if your employer has a gift matching program, check with the human resources department to support your favorite cause as well.
