Find yourself walking more than ever this spring? Put it to good use!
We challenge you to walk or run the distance children in rural Mali villages walk to get to school in one week (40 miles) or one month (160 miles). Funds you raise will help build a school!
In light of the COVID-19 situation, this year you can pick which 30 days you will use to tackle your walk -- pick any 30 days in May or June 2020!
A modest registration fee ($25) gives you access to an easy fitness app or wearable trackers to track your miles. We'll keep you inspired with stories and updates throughout May & June and prizes are available for individuals and teams, such as family, church, community, or corporate groups.
We encourage you to also use the app to raise pledges from friends and family. This will keep you motivated and help kids in Mali by giving them a chance at the most life-changing opportunity -- a quality education. Anyone who raises $100 or more will be entered to win naming rights to the new school!
Track workouts anywhere & anytime and complete goal.

All donations are made in US dollars, so the donations may be levied an exchange rate fee via your bank. Donors will want to connect with their bank to determine exactly what that fee may be. Additionally, international donors will need to reach out to a tax professional to discuss if and how tax deductibility will apply to their donation.

The short answer is - everyone. The fundraising research shows that the number one reason for people not donating is that they weren't asked to.
That said, there are things you can do to attract people to sponsor you. Adding a picture to your fundraising page, telling potential donors why this cause is so personal to you, sharing your fundraising page on social media, email, and chat groups.
Last, if your employer has a gift matching program, check with the human resources department to support your favorite cause as well.
