ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION
Preparing youth to catch their dreams one star at a time!
The Catch the Stars Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization founded by 4-time Olympic Gold Medalist & Hall of Famer Tamika Catchings in 2004. She created the foundation because she understands that the youth of today are the stars of tomorrow and that many never reach their full potential because they lack positive programs, mentors and support.
The foundation is geared towards providing positive FITNESS, LITERACY & CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT programs for at risk youth between the ages of 6-18 in the metropolitan Indianapolis area. Annual programs include; Back to School Celebration, Catch on to Fitness Clinics, Dream Catchers, Holiday Basketball Camp, Legacy Basketball Clinics, Parent Wellness Clinic, Reading & Technology Corners, Scholar Athlete & Community Star Scholarship programs, Shoot for the Stars and V.O.I.C.E. Leadership program.
