ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION

Serving Connecticut's abused and neglected children, and children in foster care, as volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) who give compassionate in-court advocacy.

Since 1979, Children In Placement has fostered effective judicial review of child abuse and neglect cases, ensuring that the best interest of these children are zealously represented in court, and that foster children find a safe, permanent home as soon as possible. Most of our work is done by highly trained local volunteers like YOU! Our amazing volunteers make a powerful difference in the lives of vulnerable children in their own communities. If you want to become a volunteer CASA/GAL (court appointed special advocate/guardian ad litem) then please visit our website at childreninplacement.org or email us at cipnh@sbcglobal.net to obtain a Volunteer Application!

Our Mission

The mission of the Children in Placement/CT-CASA is to support and promote court-appointed volunteer advocacy so that every abused and neglected child in Connecticut can have a safe, permanent home and have the opportunity to thrive.
