ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION

Run for Wilderness

Since 1954, DVNHA members have been supporting Death Valley and the visitor experience here. We support historic and scientific research, print free visitor publications, provide funding for preservation projects, education programs, internships, and so much more. To date, we have provided $6 million in aid to help the hottest, driest, lowest place in the United States, Death Valley National Park as well as Ash Meadows National Wildlife Refuge in Nevada adjacent to Devils Hole.

Our Mission

Preserving and interpreting the natural and cultural resources of the Death Valley region in cooperation with our government partners: Death Valley National Park and Ash Meadows National Wildlife Refuge.
