ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION
Preventing hunger and medical emergencies by raising awareness and increasing access to allergen-friendly food and educational resources.
Founded in 2020, FOODiversity is the central hub for solutions that empower food-insecure individuals to better manage their diet-treated medical conditions. By providing community-based programming, brings to local communities the offerings of national food allergy/celiac disease advocacy and support organizations that, otherwise, would not reach local levels and the people who are most in need.
FOODiversity serves clients across the U.S. through an innovative hub model. Local and community resources -- school nurses, food pantries, healthcare systems, and others - are able to leverage FOODiversity’s solutions to personalize support and access for their service populations.
Our Mission
FOODiversity lessens the burden of food insecurity for individuals with the added challenges of food allergies, celiac disease, and food intolerances. FOODiversity increases access to allergen-friendly foods - and other resources - which are critical to achieving nutrition security and positive health outcomes.
