ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION
Initiate equitable growth opportunities so youth can thrive.
The Hour Generation Foundation (HGF) was founded by Jerami Grant, NBA Player for the Portland Trail Blazers, USA Men’s Basketball Olympic Gold Medalist, and Philanthropist. The foundation has several programs that help serve our communities and uphold the mission that has been created to serve our youth. To name a few, our programs provide:
Free tutoring
Back to school uniforms and backpacks
Needs of the unhoused
A literacy program with an essay contest in effort to improve reading comprehension and writing skills- Hour Story Time
Play space equity by rebuilding parks
Mentorship to young girls through our J.E.W.E.L.S. program
Mentorship to young boys through our aviation program- Flying High
Relief for food scarcity through our sustainable urban farm by donating healthy foods at our annual Thanksgiving giveaway -Hour Sustainable Farm Project
Community Health Fair to help educate our community of healthy life alternatives.
Through these programs we are able to demonstrate the value and respect for our greatest asset: our youth. We aim to continue to serve our youth in our local communities.

The Hour Generation Foundation (HGF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to empowering youth in underserved communities to explore their talents by providing them information, resources, and extracurricular programs and services to maximize their potential and realize their special gifts to attain success in life.
