For children living with cleft lip, palate, or other facial differences, daily life can mean rejection, shame, and limited opportunity. The HUGS Foundation was created to restore smiles and transform futures through free, life-changing surgery.
Since 2003, volunteer teams of surgeons, nurses, and caregivers have traveled to underserved countries to perform more than 2,600 corrective procedures. Each child treated not only gains improved health and appearance but also the chance to go to school, be embraced by family, and build a life with confidence and hope.
Every mission trip is fueled by compassion, skill, and generosity. With your support, HUGS continues to bring new beginnings to children in Vietnam, Guatemala, Ecuador, Peru, and beyond — proving that one surgery can truly change a life.

Our Mission
Our mission is to deliver free, life-changing surgery to children and adolescents challenged by cleft lip and palate, microtia and other facial deformities.
HUGS helps children that are currently living with the stigma and shame of a facial deformity develop into confident, secure and responsible individuals.
