ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION
Changing the Play on Autism
Jacob's Audible was founded by Brad and Jaime Meshell in 2022. After their son, Jacob, was diagnosed with autism in 2021, they felt the need to give back and join other parents in the autistic community. Through darkness and tears, they overcame the heartache and adversity that challenges the very soul of everyone impacted by an autism diagnosis. Today, they hold several community events, respite opportunities, and most importantly, have created a community within a community to encourage other parents to rise above the stigma and be the best advocates for their children. They value change. The change that's needed in the the autism community.
Our Mission
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization specializing in the empowerment of parents with recognition, resources, and respite to become the best advocates for their children with autism. Our mission is to provide a nurturing community, valuable resources, and educational programs to empower parents on their unique journey. Through advocacy, recognition and a commitment to fostering understanding, we aim to create a network where every parent feels supported, informed, and resilient in navigating the challenges and joys of raising children with autism.
