ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION
Building Stronger Nations One Community at a Time
Since 2009, L.E.A.D. Institute (Leadership, Esteem, Ability, Discipline), an internationally recognized non-profit organization, has provided programs and services to pre-and post-correctional facility inmates as well as at-risk juveniles. L.E.A.D. has pioneered the movement to bring the Bahamas Correctional Services system into the modern world and has effectively brought a wide range of global best practices to address local needs. These include Non-Violent Conflict Resolution, At-Risk Intervention, Treatment, and Substance Abuse Prevention & Treatment System Design. In addition, our organization has operated in the Harm Reduction field for twelve (12) years, in which 65% of the population we serve have actively struggled with Substance Abuse.
