Established in 2011, the SHEA Foundation is dedicated to advancing the field of healthcare epidemiology, infection prevention and antimicrobial stewardship through education and research initiatives. The Foundation’s primary areas of focus include:
• Awards and Scholarships: recognizing the contributions and accomplishments of our members that have had a meaningful impact on the field.
• SHEA Research Network: a consortium of over 100 healthcare facilities working together on multicenter research projects.
• International Ambassador Program: supporting collaborative relationships between healthcare professionals in the United States and abroad.
Our Mission
The SHEA Foundation supports the education and growth of healthcare epidemiologists and infection prevention professionals worldwide.
