ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION

Veterans housing Veterans, armed with the strength and support of the community.

Veterans Community Project is a 501(c)(3) founded by a group of combat Veterans committed and determined to stand within the gaps of a broken system that previously left too many of their brothers and sisters behind. Originating in Kansas City, Missouri, in 2017 –VCP has become an industry leader in addressing and overcoming housing barriers for Veterans, dedicated to supporting every man and woman who took an oath for this country. VCP is determined to make a difference in the lives of all homeless Veterans by providing innovative transitional housing coupled with wrap-around services and accessible walk-in Veteran support. Further, providing the local Veteran population and their families with individualized case management that utilizes an evidence-based self-sufficiency matrix to help Veterans achieve housing stability, self-sufficiency, and overall healthy well-being. VCP’s long-term goal is preventing and ending Veteran homelessness across the nation, a task accomplished by the community for the community.

Our Mission

VCP is proud to assist any Veteran who took the oath to serve and is in need with resources like transitional housing, wrap-around support services and emergency assistance.
